they also said it is h1n1 causing lungs to bleed. is that normal?they said no change in the virus.why out in the usa no bleeding of the lungs from swine flu?

All flu virus strains attack the lungs. As lung cells are infected, they either rupture and release more viruses, or are killed by the immune system—this is pneumonia. Whether or not this leads to bleeding is up to chance.
Yeah, a lot of people here with the most severe influenza symptoms have suffered severe lung damage. Many are breathing only with the help of ventilators.
We are fortunate here in the US to have the access to this kind of medical care. If not we would have seen more people die the way they have in the Ukraine. The bleeding from the lungs is due to the severe destruction of lung tissue that can occur following viral pneumoniae caused by H1N1, (or other viruses that attack the lungs).
