What Would You Rather Have If You Were Ill-orthodox Or Alternative Medicine?

Orthodox say that you have the flu, they give you painkillers or antibiotics, everyone gets the same thing, what does not resolve the problem, just covered, and you do worse in the long term.
Alternatively, say you have the flu and continue to treat with homeopathy, a remedy can be found specifically for your symptoms. and you will be treated as a whole. Everything is taken into account, from food to dream.
  What would you prefer?

  1. Personally if I am sick, I prefer to be seen by someone who has had years of training and experience recognized daily relationships with patients – a doctor. Yes I know, some may be a little freer with antibiotics, but I do not see how making something worse long term. I am currently halfway through a course of antibiotics (first year) for an infection in the throat and chest. I feel much better than me 2 days ago and I certainly would not have the energy or desire to discuss the plan and dreams to anyone!

  2. Orthodox or anything I believe in alternative medicine, for some reason I find it a little doubtful and debatable, but thats my opinion.
      Good question. . . . . . . . .

  3. I alternate unorthodoxly

  4. I must say a combination of both, I would like to find the treatments that I first use.

  5. As homeopathic treatments are not tested using the scientific method, and instead said, in most cases, the use of anecdotal information. . . I'd rather have a treatment known to be suitable to my condition.
Your question, however, shows a certain ignorance of orthodox medicine. . . As for the flu, antibiotics and painkillers would be both inappropriate prescriptions. For viral diseases such as influenza, you deal with either, antivirals (if taken within the appropriate window) or symptomatic (as they would use homeopathy). However, the best treatment for influenza is prevention through vaccination against influenza.

  6. I tend to find the year followed by a tea and a soak in a bath while sleeping is the way forward!
I hate taking pills Orthodox side too many affects. What can go wrong to eat well, drink well, exercise and relaxation?

  7. The best way forward is to use a combination of both. To take the example that you gave me the flu. Treatment of viral infections is difficult because viruses live inside the body's own cells, making it difficult for our immune system fight. Viruses can also be transformed, resulting in treatments that could work today, unusable for the future. Influenza is caused by a virus that attacks the cells of our bodies, with different effects depending on the strain of the virus. The virus mutates all the time and new variants (strains) arise. Unfortunately, immunity against one strain (which is conferred by exposure or immunization) does not protect against other strains. In an era of rapid air transport of the global spread of a new type of influenza can be very fast. Until recently, there was no specific treatment for influenza, and for most people it is always best to treat the symptoms of how old Stay at home. Drink plenty of fluids. Take the relief of symptoms: – aspirin, paracetamol,, ibuprofen or other anti-inflammatory to help with fever and pain, decongestants, cough medicines cons, gargles, lozenges, etc., await natural regeneration. Homeopathy is a gentle, holistic system of healing suitable for everyone, young and old. Homeopathy focuses on you as an individual, concentrating on treating your specific physical and emotional symptoms to give long-term benefits. The therapy is based on the theory of treating "identical". Homeopathic remedies are highly diluted natural substances that if given in higher doses to a healthy person, would produce the symptoms the drug is prescribed. In the evaluation of you, the patient, homeopaths take into account all physical, emotional factors and lifestyle in order to prescribe the right drug (s). As I said earlier, homeopathy can be safely used alongside most conventional medicines.
      Hope this helps

  8. If I wanted a chance that therapy might help me I would have no choice but to use orthodox medicine.
Now that homeopathy and acupuncture have been virtually proven to have no more than a placebo effect, it continues to amaze me that people are always so gullible as to believe they are doing something!

  9. I have been sick with about 3 colds in my 30 year life and had one problem with my stomach. Other than that I’ve never really been sick, but if I were to be I suppose I would want something that has proven to work before and I think that could be either.
