The Symptoms are like the common cold or flu, Also its spread just like the common cold is, If you think you have it visit a doctor and stay isolated from people you dont want to spread it
Well, I personally just recovered from swine flu myself, and here’s what I experienced. For two days, I’d had a scratchy throat and a bit of a cough (nothing huge) and I basically thought I was starting a cold. The following day I ended up going to the doctor’s because my back and chest were hurting me very much, and my body was generally sore. (I thought I’d thrown out my back) As I was waiting in the clinic (for about three hours) other symptoms began to appear VERY quickly, like fever, more severe coughing and extreme fatigue. That night I was really out of it, and feverish mostly for the next 3 days, though my fever was generally mild, and easily controlled with Tylenol. For the first few days, I had no appetite, and absolutely no energy, and was tired all the time. The most severe symptom was a very deep cough which was rooted in my lungs. Very phlegmy, heh. I stayed in bed for about three days. I also experienced one bout of diarrhea, but nothing too severe. I was dizzy throughout, and weak… but once the fever subsided about 5 days later, I began to feel much better, with a little bit of residual coughing.
As far as flus are concerned, this one wasn’t too bad, I have to say. I’m still clearning my throat a bit now, but I’m not contagious anymore, and have experienced no huge complications.
Basically, it sucks… but it’s nothing the media is making it out to be, if your immune system is normal.
