Swine Flu or Not – It’s really up to YOU!!!!

Do not kid yourself, if you have the swine flu, you can have the best doctors in the world taking care of you, but the name of the game is prevention of influenza, and the question is how you resist the swine flu or any other flu cons to this question? You must get the germ in your body to contract the swine flu, and that means he has to enter into an opening.

Even if you get the germs on your skin, it does not guarantee that you will contract swine flu because it means entering through the mouth, nose or eyes. These are the channels in the body. If you have or that you have surgery performed, for example, a patient at the hospital, the surgical site itself is also a way for germs to enter the body.

I'll give you some basic ideas on how to prevent swine flu, and also colds and viruses in general.

- Wash hands and keep clean. Every time you shake hands with someone, you shake hands with everyone, they shook hands, as they had washed their hands. If you do not shake hands, and before touching another part of your body including the nose, mouth and eyes, you get those hands clean.

- An infected person can transmit the germ to you one day before symptoms appear and up to 7 days after onset of symptoms. You get the virus through contact with such person directly, or through contact with an object they touched. One wonders how long an object like a doorknob can keep the seeds alive.

- Beware of door handles. On the surface the more infested with germs that you can touch a doorknob or open your taps and water to the outside, especially in bathrooms other use. Once you touch one of these objects is as if you never washed your hands at all. Our suggestion is to use the same towel, dry your hands as a barrier between your hands germ free now and the doorknob or faucet.

- At work, we keep bottles of Windex handy. Spray the doors of bathrooms and faucets and door handles in the offices of people and let them air dry only takes a minute or two. If you dry the surface immediately, you kill most of the barriers inhibiting germ.

- Go to a major discounter such as Wal-Mart store and hand sanitizers. Easy to carry bottles of 2 to 4 oz can fit in your pocket, are less than $ 1 and give one to each family member. They are fabulous for cleaning hands and the rest evaporates in seconds. Doctors use them all the time. It's cheap insurance.

- If and when the swine flu hits your area, that the order of N95 masks, which are listed. They are recommended by the Centers for Disease Control, and are very inexpensive. Go online and Google "swine flu masks", and check prices.

Follow these simple rules religiously, and we believe that the swine flu will bypass you and your home this season. Good luck.
