New York, Canada, California, Texas and Ohio were also confirmed yesterday.

Honestly, with how the flu spreads, it may reach a global pandemic. Do not scare anyone, as we have a vaccine that works against this virus, the main problem is to ensure that we do not pay for the vaccine early or too late. The reason is that anybody would allow the virus to mutate and possibly become resistant to all vaccines against influenza.
It would take at least 2 months for a vaccine against the flu. They do now. You would not spread to others after a week.

No matter how good a country is to protect their borders, it is inevitable that almost all countries have cases of swine flu. We just had 16 confirmed cases here in the state of Queensland in Australia, so our state government has activated its emergency plan and hope that it will not become epidemic. But I'd be surprised if this does not work.
