My lips usually get irritated after recovering from a cold or flu, What should I use as medication?

I usually use vitamin A+D eye ointment as medication, is it OK?

  1. Neosporin works great, and aquaphor is like a miracle worker on any dryness.

  2. Your lips are being irritated because of dehydration during the course of your cold or flu.
    You do not need any medication, you need plain old Vaseline, that’s it-plain & simple.
    Drink a lot of fluids during the course of a cold or flu, keep yourself hydrated.
    I am also a big user of Acidohilus-5 billion & Milk Free with FOS- I take this every day and it is great.

  3. Carmax; it’s like chapstick but it works wonders for severe irritation.
    Blistex is also a good choice.
