Is it true that the swine flu vaccine is actually very dangerous?
A doctor told us that the vaccine can actually cause a dangerous weakening of our immune systems and increase chances of catching the flu. I’m 19 and just got vaccinated before hearing that. Should I be worried?

I do not know what doctor told you that, but if this vaccine had a high probability to cause such complications, then it would have never made it past the FDA required studies and therefore would have never been brought to market. Even in the cases where we have seen some side effects which were not found in the initial studies and trials after a new drug has been brought to market, it is still not typically a high percentage risk symptom.
At any rate, just with all drugs, vaccines and medical treatments, you should always weigh the benefits versus the risks in which the medication poses to you specifically, with your doctor. After the risk-benefit assessment has been performed then if the benefits outweigh the risks for you, then you should go ahead with the treatment, vaccine or medication and if not, then you should discuss it further with your doctor as well as other options.
I think that the probability of you having any serious reactions to this vaccine are very low.

Can’t say it much better than the ToxLabRat. My wife and I got it last week. My grandchildren got it at school the week before. Over 2000 children got it via our local school district. One child fainted, and she rapidly recovered.
While the H1N1 aka Swine Flu has been milder than anticipated, there still have been many deaths, and in younger age groups than with the usual seasonal flu.
Even before the days of Jenner there has been a significant segment of the population who are against immunization. While there are certain risks, the benefit to risk ratio is very favorable.
