Just wondering if you thought the flu vaccine would do this? I know they are different strains, but thought maybe if having a little antibodies of 1 might lessen the severity of the other.
Your thoughts?

One has no protection against the other. Please have everyone vaccinated now for the annual flu. Then in Oct. when the swine flu vaccine becomes available get vaccinated against that strain too. Everyone will need 2 injections 3 weeks apart to build up the needed antibodies. Good luck and God Bless
unlikely, the seasonal flu shots are virus specific, meaning that if you get any other flu virus, you get the full illness.
